In 2002, Thistle was one of the first printers to participate in the Toronto Region Sustainability Program delivered by OCETA. The company retained the services of EcoSafe environmental, health and safety management to conduct a Pollution Prevention (P2) Assessment focused on pollution prevention opportunities and regulatory compliance. With the expansion of its facilities and production equipment, the company commissioned a second P2 Assessment through the Program and EcoSafe.
